How to Become a WLPOA Board Member

We would request that any persons considering joining the WLPOA Board of Directors regularly attend as many board meetings as possible prior to making this decision.

 There are two ways to become a member of the WLPOA Board of Directors.

1) Be Elected. Each year at the July Annual Membership Meeting eligible POA members (those that have paid their dues) will elect up to 3 Members to the WLPOA Board of Directors to serve on the board for a 3-year term. Each year, prior to the annual July meeting, the Board Member Election registration page will be activated on this website. Parities interested in registering for the election may do so at that time.

2) Be Appointed. Vacancies on the board may be filled with a person selected by the remaining directors of the board. A person so selected shall serve the remainder of the term of the director he/she replaced. To be considered for appointment please complete the following form. Completing this form only puts you on the list to be considered for appointment. It does NOT register you for any up-coming elections. While all requests will be considered, not all vacancies need be filled.
